He look very much the same, both in real life and on screen - retarded i should call it. But im not here to talk about him.

Catch her on youtube and start digging, you'll thank me for the recommendation because i almost wanted to be a Rock star after being inspired by her talent, only, i dont have great talent like hers. haha.

Gossip Girl hits the end of the road of Season 1

You can call me an internet digger but I have finished watching the whole season of Gossip Girl since the first time my friend recommended it to me earlier this year. I have so much to talk about this series but I leave it to you to find out what the hypes are all about. Yes, if you like to watch something exciting with a lot of dramas that give you ‘aaahhhhh’s, ‘oooohhhh’s and “wowwww’s, go ahead and hit 8TV every Wednesday, or better still, download it from the internet. Or maybe you can get the soft copy from me.

The sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

A very meaningful movie about four bestfriends who basically grew up together in a small town called Maryland. On the day of their separation day before the summer holiday, they found a pair of jeans in a thrift shop which miraculously fits all of them perfectly, despite having different measurement.

Basically the story was about how they shared the pants among themselves equally, to keep them together eventhough they are distance apart. Each of them found their miracles in the summer, with the pants witnessing all the events in their lives, which also makes it valuable for these girls.

Lena (Alexis Bledel, Gilmore Girls co-star) was discovering her other side of live after meeting Kostos in Greece. Carmen (America Ferrera, Ugly Betty co-star) was excited to meet his father, only to find out that he is marrying a woman who had 2 kids. The visit ended badly. Later in the movie, she finally confronted her father about her feeling through the phone and they reconciled on his wedding day. Bridget (Blake Lively, Gossip Girl co-star)who lost her mother tries to find her happiness in a soccer camp during the summer. She then met her coach and tried to win him. In the end, she lost her virginity to him. The aftermath instigated her emptiness and sadness. She remained feeling hopeless until the camp was ended. Her friends came to spend the night at her place to comfort her after knowing what happened. My favourite part was the ignorant and emotionless member of the group, Tibby (Amber Tamblyn, The Ring co-star), who stayed home working during the summer. She met a 12 year old girl who passed out in the hypermarket where she was working. After helping her, the 12 year old girl, Bailey wanted to be friends with her. In the end, Bailey died of leukemia.

Throughout the summer, each of them experience changes in their lives and they believed the pants brought miracles to them. Lena who was once very reserved changed to a high-spirited girl, Tibby who was very ignorant discovered her soft side, Carmen finally managed to fix her relationship with her father after he left when she was very young. The message about Bridget was a bit unclear.

I was tearing towards the end of the movie, so that’s a bonus credit for this movie. If you like something sentimental yet meaningful, try this movie.

nerve-racking, huh?!

Retiring myself from romantic love story novels, I have switched my interest into thrillers like this one here.

I’ve been eyeing this book for few days before Mr.T bought it for me. It was funny that I found this book on Easter week.

Well, to reassure you that this book gonna hook you till the end, I would rate this book 9 out of 10. The ‘minus one’ is for the parts which are a bit draggy but you shouldn’t miss any of the chapters because the small details are the important ones because they are the quilts of the mystery beneath.

Just by the title, I think you can tell that the thrill is about the killing of the girls with rosary in their hands at times of death. Easter is approaching and the rosary needs to be finished. Alas, few girls will be sacrificed for the coming resurrection. The mystery unwrapped itself with brilliant complex of the stories and for the last few chapters I can guarantee that you won’t stop digging on it until the last page.

The Road - Horrifying yet beautiful

If you call “Tuesday with Morrie’ is a total classic and the most brilliant piece ever, try ‘The Road’ By Cormac McCarthy, and trust me after you read it, you will surely thank me for the recommendation.

A beautiful, mesmerizing life story of a father and a son after a terrible unnamed apocalyptic event in America, heading slowly to a warmer southeast America due to the terrible winter they have to bear with limited source of scavenged food and clothes. Horrific encounters of the bands of cannibals and their preys, prisoners captured in the basement, gradually harvested to pieces for food by their captors. All in one, so grab the book and enjoy the journey like I had.

England Vs Trinidad&Tobago (2:0)

I know I was desperate yesterday but I just gotta see England play this time and I heard Rooney is going to play despite the injury he had even before the world cup begin. I had few people to reserve for the game, but at the very last minute I called off the plan thinking that I could just go to the mamak shop nearby and watch football while having dhosai and Teh Tarik. To my surprise, I went alone. Lucky me, I get to drag along few chaps to accompany me since watching it alone wasn’t really a good idea, and even worse, I am a girl. Unfortunately, I was too late to get a table and the place was already a full house with football fans which I believe some of them are watching it just to support or Booing the England team, but that was off my concern at the moment. I had no choice but to go to Peter’s house and watch it with bunch of guys. Lucky me Willy’s girlfriend was there to join us, so im not the only girl around.

The first half of the game was a disappointment as Crouch made a lot of mistakes with his kicking and heading, oh well, his height didn’t even help a bit. Lampard was not in a good position of scoring even one goal, and Owen was the same. The second half was really a blood racing. I know I should keep it down but it became so exciting when Rooney took Owen’s place. Well, Owen still a star to me and I was like “Why didn’t they pick Crouch to get off the field? He sucks this time.” Lennon took his place too and damn he shouldn’t be underestimated. He was good.

For the last 10 minutes of the 2nd half, our hope for England to score started to fade and it was no doubt a total despair. The game was quite offensive as the ball possessions for England is higher in percentage. England kept on striking endlessly eventhough their pride is at stake. Then, it was a GOALLLLL at 83’ from Crouch, unbelievable, he managed to redeem himself. In less than 10 minutes after Crouch's history, my fav footballer, Steven Gerrard, took the pride and contributed another score to England. It was a good score from Gerard.

2-0, it was out of prediction, I don’t think the bookie got it right too. I can’t wait for their next game.

DA VINCI CODE – and the arising curiosity of Christianity

Da Vinci code has come out alive, at last! I still remember obsessing the book exactly a year ago. But it was not because the ‘cover-up’ history (as Dan Brown called it) that interests me. But it was the way he put it into literature that impressed me to the max. Dan Brown has the upper hand of putting history into a provocative way, he is a genius, I must admit. Nevertheless, if we look at his masterpiece in a positive way, he had brought everyone into a question-mark, which is very good indeed since that leads to excessive curiosity and consequently, better knowledge. Now it is clear that, the youngsters nowadays had neglected the importance of understanding their own religion, especially those Christian followers.

I have been receiving a lot of “Do you think it’s true?” from those who have watched the movie and I can see it now, everyone is actually interested in Christianity’s history nowadays? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? The good thing is that, it brings everyone to one route – Finding out the truth. Somehow it will improve their faith in God since some people may protect their own religion and this will boost their interest in reading the bible or maybe some other informative resources about Christianity. But not forgetting those whose faiths are effortlessly triggered. It could possibly happen, ya know. Furthermore, it could leads to frustration and betrayal. But whatever it is, like what Tom Hanks a.k.a Robert Langdon says, “What matter the most is what you believe.”

It is a good movie, indeed. But in my point of view, I must remind you that, it is completely nothing but a fiction. It is the arts of Dan Brown, and history is just his powerful resources, which is nothing more than a theory induced by intellects (I did not say it is totally wrong, it has been studied for century, but the proof is still vague).

In short, let’s not forget that “Faith is important. That’s the only thing we have when everything falls apart.”

My personal review on "The EXORCISM of Emily Rose"

This story is mostly like a courtroom movie but the storyline is kind of intriguing and ignited my very soul… I have to hug my friend’s hand during the movie because it was to frightening… I mean the suspense is too much to handle though I did control myself from screaming out loud.

At first it was about Erin Bruner being so excellent in her career as a lawyer and she is the kind of girl that likes challenges. I can say that she is very gutsy; does not believe or scared of anything. Then with the request from the church diocese, she was chosen to defend Father Moore who was convicted to have killed Emily Rose. With Ethan Thomas as her opponent and the very tough case she has to win, it was very nasty at first that Erin almost lose the case. She got her hopes back when Dr. Cartwright offered to testify at the court. But just before he was brought in front to testify, he was hit by a car and died. The hopes to win are too frail and she was even warned by her employer not to let Fr.Moore to testify again for the second time because of the press attention he contributed. However, Fr.Moore’s intention is not to let himself free but to let the world know about Emily’s story.

It was scary that the demon that possessed Emily is the one, two, three, four, five, six demons. The sixth demon was the “Big-time-BOMBSHELL”. She was a happy girl with a dream to become a teacher, she was offered to further her study at the university with full scholarship. but one night she was awaken by a strange sound just outside her room. The demons got her attention. She was one hell of a girl to have the guts to check the hall and close the angry door. It all happened at 3am, when demon’s activity is at maximum. 3am is actually a mock to Christ’s dead during His time. She was under medication since then. She was given drugs (Gambutrol) to help her with her sickness. But her condition remained the same and she has to leave school. With the help of her good friend, Jason – she is sent back home and Fr.Moore began to appear in the picture -Helping her to get rid of the demons inside her body by commencing a ritual called – EXORCISM.

But the exorcism failed and being said by an anthropology expert that it may be caused by the effect of Gambutrol which makes her to stay put at her state of being possessed when the exorcism is being commenced. A day after the exorcism took place, she heard a voice calling out her name. She reached out for the voice and met holy Mother Mary. She asked why was she given such test and sufferings. But she knew she was loved and she was given a choice whether to end it or to stay. She chose to stay for one GOOD reason. She sacrificed herself till the end. Her face when she died was totally horrible.

There are still a lot of gaps I didn’t fill up for you here, if you want to know the whole story, it’s very easy. Go to your nearest theater and buy ticket to watch it. I rate this movie as a MUST-WATCH movie to those movie-goers outside. Have a go kids…it’s worth your money, big time!!

I just finished reading a book, which was given by Lionel for my birthday..it was about the "5 people you meet in heaven". So far, i managed to read only half of the whole lot. The book is quite thin but it was quite slow. The story is way too slow but it makes me think, have you ever imagined life after death? I guess no one would actually believe in that. Since there's no scientific proof that dead people will be revived in another world. Speaking of dead people, i've seen this movie "Final destination 2" which sent a message that every time when a new life is born into this world, there will be death in return to balance the world. We believe that in one day alone, thousands of people died with various sickness or accidents or unexplainable tragics, and of course there will be new lives entering the world and experience all the cruelness life has to offer. Im not being pessimistic here. But its true we cannot get away from all problems we had to face. But God is here. Yes, I believe the existence of God in our lives. But here, im not talking about spiritual stuff, im talking about the world and the humankind.

of course im very depressed now, but let's not talk about the 'rubbish' in my head. everybody has their down moments but i prefer not to show mine because im not here to get sympathy...

Coming back to our topic. Is it true that there is life after death? how can you prove it? Eventhough there is no proof of its truth but there are still some people who believe in life after death. Simply because there are no compelling reasons not to believe according to one of the site I've read few days ago. I know this is so weird.

I love to write more about this but i have to go now, Chris is picking me up for Warcraft with the guys.
