"Faith is VIRTUE"

The events in our life are the many pieces of a puzzle, which says about the human being as a player – putting the pieces altogether- and see a big picture of it as the end result.

My life has been an eventful journey and everything seemed to come into places now. All the pieces that seemed to be a question are now leads to the comprehension of life as a whole. I see the purposes of this journey. I strongly believe that this is not a matter of coincidence but blessings from the Holy One. Karma will be another issue which im not able to talk about rite now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went to church today with some UKM undergrads and joined Dr.Brid afterward. I was thinking of Secret Recipe but she insisted on having breakfast at the restaurant nearby. Despite of having to squeeze in for seats, we managed to get a table.

3 more weekends to go and that will be a goodbye for me and Dr.Brid. I realized how fast the time flies. “Count your blessing” or you’ll never appreciate life and what fate brings you. It is very fortunate for me to have Dr.Brid to direct me in the lab after getting nowhere for so many months. Being a Mama bacteria isn’t so great and even worse that I am handling some carcinogenic and toxic chemicals now. Remind me to appreciate life even more so I won’t let myself inhaling the greatness of hydrocarbon. I know I need to practice some precautions.

My conscious evil twin is failing, I should work harder and being a black sheep isn’t easy after all. A friend was amazed that I survived being an odd one in the family. Being brought up as a typical kadazan girl but practicing the Einstein thinking is way too much for a living. I may not be a smart ass in class but my determination is greater than what I learned in the class. It’s the effort that brings us to the top.

YOU – may not be the best in the world… but find your victory and you will be the best in your heart.

Count the blessings or you won’t know what you’re losing. I should bless the day I found myself in eagerness of improving my being for betterment. It was not easy but I managed to jump over and reached the other side. Now is the matter of surviving, and achievements will go along the way.

People, have faith. Nothing is more important than having faith in everything you do and about to do.

Happy Easter everybody…

changes made us strong

Mandisa is voted out this week, as sad as it may seem to everyone. She’s no more performing in American Idol TV show… but I wouldn’t want it the other way around either. I mean, Elliot is damn good… I liked him ever since he sang that song “Baby you’re all that I want, when you’re lying here in my heart. Find it hard to believe, you’re in heaven.” I know it may sound kinky in a way, but oh well it’s my fav.

My life had been going perfectly normal; you can see that it’s hardly for me to update my blog simply because I have nothing to say. I need to be inspired by my feelings anyway. It’s always easy to let out your feelings and your thoughts when you are feeling something like overjoyed, sad, upset, disappointed... the list goes on. I found myself starting to blend in with everything that is going around me. No more complaints whatsoever. Obviously I need a car and it’s not really for entertainment purposes. Like what happened few days ago. When I was so passionately doing my work with full energy, I have to stop half-way just because I can’t stay longer since the public transportation is so unreliable after 7pm. I was so frustrated with the lacking and I know that I really need to talk to my sister about it.

Dr.Brid, a researcher from Dublin City University in Ireland is now here. She is interested in my project and planning to collaborate with my supervisor. I know it may sound a good news that she actually offered me to continue to phd and do one part of the research in Ireland for a year. In my heart, I know im lucky but I don’t know why I was not so keen of the idea. I preferred to stay and everyone found it ridiculous since you know what kind of person I am. Some people called me a risk-taker, opportunist and ambitious but now all the names that used to be mine are now fading away. Hmmm, people do change and it happened to me now. I guess ive found something that is really meant to be that I wouldn’t want to risk it any other way.

Speaking of Dr.Brid, im going to church with her again tomorrow and I know she is so interested in going out with me so im bringing her to the museum tomorrow, tho I seriously have no idea where it is located. Oh well, it’s always fun to search around, I guess…

Im turning in for the night. Goodnight everyone *yawn*

wednesday's story...

My labwork has been in good progress despite of having limited time and tons of mistake in all areas.. but oh well, without mistakes, how can I learn right. I still remember what Ms. Teoh used to tell me when I was doing my undergrad thesis a year ago. She kept on saying, science is not all about getting the result, it’s more to troubleshooting. Which is true. I just prepared my board to enumerate my bacteria and they are still on my bench waiting for me to work on it, while im still here B-L-0-G-G-I-N-G!!!!

My sister was in town since monday and I spent the night with her and her colleague, Dr. Liza. I had a great time with them even though it was only for a short while. I get to buy few tops from hush puppies, too bad the sales are over…or else we’ll do more shopping till there’s nothing else to drop!! The next day (which is yesterday) I brought Yan along to meet my sister in Midvalley. After stopping by buying few stuff in few outlets and stores, I followed my sister to KL Sentral and I accidentally met clay there…of all people!! She looked so stunning in her dressing.. doesn’t look like oh Clay, from UMS”… she looked more like “that’s Clay who’s currently working for Maybank?” hahahha, I know I confused you… what I meant was she looked entirely ladylike and matured..

Im going to this Christian group dinner on this Sunday and ive done enough shopping for that particular night. In a way, I can’t wait for it. Jessrina, Grace’s friend, offered to fetch me which is sooooo nice of her… I just can’t wait for that big night… I’ll update you soon.. ciao!

A story of the current flow in my daily life

It has been quite awhile since my last post and Im starting to feel so unfamiliar with this blogging already.. oh well, let’s go to my updates..

It has been great for me ever since I came back from KK few weeks ago.. of course I still miss home, my friends and loved ones but the goings must go on.. ive started doing the biochemistry side of my master project and I am still floating in the middle of nowhere. My background as a degree holder in Biotechnology does not help a bit.. Im lucky to have some experience on benchwork or else I wont be able to subside my anxiousness on handling it.

My senior is finishing soon and I’ll be left alone with no friend. Oh well, it makes no different since I’ve been alone almost everyday in the lab. Fortunately I have my 6360 Nokia to keep me company. I had my GC training last week and it was obvious that Ive disappointed myself for not coming there on time after lunch hour… Thanks to Jeff for coming to my rescue at that very moment when I feel like I was engulfed by the fuming combustion. I was dead for a moment.

My weekends had been great, tho’ I have been going out with the same old crowd but it was superb and exciting that I wont want it the other way around. Without them, I don’t think I will stop mourning over my pathetic halfhearted life. Life without friends are hard, but it is harder when the friends you have is no way in the same wavelength as you are because it makes you feel outta place. But Im glad that I don’t have to feel that way in my daily life as my life start shining on every Friday night and ends on Sunday night… this is what I call a pathetic human nature.. well to put it in a much familiar definition, it’s typical for Ms. old Fellie for having such a tragic yet electrifying life..hehe.. what I mean is my life is like the endless rising and falling amplitude (exactly like what we learn in physics)..

Im looking forward to have more in future to come.. I don’t mind rising and falling as long as there is always an inexhaustible current to stimulate and ignite my pathetic being as Ms old Fellie… I guess I can’t stop crapping if I don’t plug up just yet… Im outta here for now.. till then people!!

What MONEY can and can't do.. ask yourself!!

It's pretty amazing how money can change people's life... i mean ive seen it myself.. some people that i really care about. It's pretty clear to me that when it comes to money, everybody forget about other important things in life for some instance- kindness, morality, friendship etc. What can you say, money is the root for everything, according to some people. They are willing to do anything when it comes to that.

But what money can do for you? can it buy you love? or friendship? just because you can have everything you want with money, doesnt mean you have the right to downgrade other people right? do you have aura when you have the money? it makes me think, what if you dont have money? does it make you a person without aura? what aura really means anyway? oh goodness, i need a dictionary to make me understand this whole thing, its beginning to confuse me...

what money can buy?
1. Friends
2. House
3. Book

what money can't buy?
1. Friendship
2. Home
3. Knowledge

That's only a few example that i can think of now.. but i think it is enough to make you realize that money can't give you everything tho' it can help you in some ways... Dear friends, think of others who and what matter the most to you. you wont know what ure missing until you lost them... Do not take thing for granted.. Hope you have a good life..
